We propose semantic grounding as a perceptual control layer in agentic AI pipelines, framing hallucinations as a perception problem rather than a generation problem. By constraining agent perception through semantic embeddings and contrastive training, our approach achieves 87.33% accuracy — up from a 26.65% baseline — demonstrating that reliable autonomy requires controlling perception before scaling generation.

A semantic correlation framework for grounding enterprise data in business semantics using compact sentence-level encoders (MiniLM, MPNet, DistilRoBERTa). Our 5-stage methodology with contrastive training achieves 87.33% schema-field matching accuracy, substantially outperforming lexical baselines (Jaro-Winkler, Jaccard) below 30%, enabling transparent and accountable enterprise AI deployments.
